We’ve just completed the design for a local photographer in cheltenham; Frozen Visions. The design proposed by the client for the home page features a large flash gallery to showcase the latest photos, which are easily uploaded and edited within the included content management system. The ease and speed of use that this provides will make maintaining the website design a quick, simple process.
The design for the inner pages of the website, was also to the client specification, and encorporates custom controls so that the image boxes, and the pages they link to, can be controlled using the content management system, providing full user control over the website design and appearance.
Choosing a platform for your web design that allows full design control is essential if you have an artistic website that needs to be regularly, quickly and easily updated. Strong calls to action in the footer of the site help to funnel website traffic towards the end goal of arranging a consultation – defining a goal is something that many website designs fail to do.
If you are considering designing a new website, you need to first think “what do I want my website to do” the answer for most businesses is: generate enquiries, make sales, make the phone ring, etc.
By placing calls to actions across the site in key locations, you can help to ensure that visitors on your site are encouraged to reach the end goal of making contact, subscribing to a newsletter, picking up the phone, or placing an order.
This is the first thing we discuss with our clients when they come to us, as it is only by understanding their core requirements, that we help them produce a website design that really works for them, and helps their business.
